Our Troop:
Troop 96 is a Boy
Scout unit in the Old Portage District of the Great Trail
Council. Since its organization in 1944, several hundred boys,
including over 50 Eagles, have been members of Troop
96. The Troop now has members who are sons of former Troop 96
Scouts. Currently there are approximately 23 active
Scouts and 8 active Scouters. The Troop is sponsored by
Saint Sebastian Catholic Church and the church provides
facilities for the regular meetings and storage space for the
Troop equipment. The program of the Troop is
substantially Catholic based but is open to all boys
regardless of chosen faith from the ages of 11 to 18 who are
willing to live by the Scout Oath and Law. We have
meetings every week on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm
in Byrider Hall meeting room
